  • SERVICE TERMINATION POLICY

    PURPOSE :

    To ensure that our service users are informed in a timely manner of any decision to terminate our service provision – thus allowing them sufficient time to locate and agree the services of a new care service provider.

    To maintain full compliance with National Care Standards, Standard 2.

    ACENURSING PROCEDURE :

    Written Notification :

    You will receive written notification of termination of our service provision no less than 48 hours in advance of our service stopping.

    If immediate termination of service provision is necessary, for any reason, you will be contacted by telephone by our Duty Coordinator.

    (Immediate action is seldom required and is normally only sanctioned where there is a concern for the safety and/or welfare of either the client or the Care provider should the service be allowed to continue).

    SERVICE USER PROCEDURE :

    If you wish to cancel or amend the booked services of an Ace Member you are required to give at least 24 hours notice.

    Cancellations and amendments can be made directly to AceNursing Staff Coordinators by calling 0141-221-3123 (24 hrs).

    Failure to do so will result in the following
    cancellation fees being charged :

    24 to 9 hours notice - Fixed charge of £20.00

    8 to 2 hours notice - 50% of assignment fee

    Less then 2 hours - 100% of assignment fee
